About the Role

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s launch and daily operations, setting the tone for service, culture, and profitability. This leader will recruit, inspire, and manage a talented team, ensure flawless execution, and drive both guest satisfaction and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all FOH and BOH operations to deliver exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Oversee pre-opening planning, including hiring, training, and operational setup.
  • Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team in a supportive, positive culture.
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Partner with the culinary team to maintain menu consistency, quality, and timeliness.
  • Monitor inventory, vendor partnerships, and ordering for cost efficiency.
  • Drive sales and profitability through P&L oversight, budgets, and cost management.
  • Build guest loyalty by engaging with the community and addressing escalated issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives, promotions, and growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive restaurant management experience, with at least 3 years as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success with new openings and building teams from the ground up.
  • Experience in high-volume, full-service dining; Italian cuisine or family-style concepts strongly preferred.
  • Track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining strong teams.
  • Financial acumen with P&L management and cost control expertise.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with POS and restaurant management systems.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
